Zizzi
Fantastic food and service, highly reccomend when visiting Cambridge

The Fleur Bar & Bistro
What a find! We had been meaning to try The Fleur Bar & Bistro on Humberstone Road (near the boathouses) after a friend told us how good it was. We weren't at all disappointed! A fantastic menu, superior service and relaxed surroundings made our evening one of the best we'd ever had in Cambridge. It's been open for a year they told us, and we wish we'd known about it sooner! HIGHLY recommended! We'll be back.

Cazimir
Sadly Cazimir as we use to know it is no more. It\\\'s turned into a cold, unwelcoming, austere cafe/bar with awful coffee and service that is sadly lacking. Its just looks like so many other boring bars. At least Cazimir had a bit of originality about it even if it has gone down hill a bit in the last couple of years. I see it lost out to Black Cat Cafe for best cafe in cambridge 2007

Graffiti
On Saturday the 9th June 2007 my partner and I visited the Graffiti restaurant in Hotel Felix for an anniversary meal. When we arrived at the hotel we discovered that they had a large party of wedding guests but as it turned out this didn't seem to have any negative impact on the quality of the service or the food. It certainly gave the place a buzz with quite a bit of activity on the terrace early on in the evening and just a little bit of noise from disco upstairs much later on. In spite of traffic between the wedding reception upstairs and the bar/terrace adjacent to the restaurant the wedding party was really quite well segregated from the normal dining guests and the atmosphere in the dining room was extremely relaxed and pleasant. From our experience on this visit I would say that the service in the restaurant strikes an excellent balance between attentiveness and being given space to enjoy the meal without interruption. Having said that, my partner and I enjoy a leisurely meal and appreciate reasonable gaps between courses to digest and relax - so if you are used to a more hurried dining experience then you might be disappointed. Whenever we finished a course our empty plates were soon cleared away and when we needed to attract attention from the staff it really was not an effort. My partner started with scallops and chorizo risotto followed by lemon sole, capers and shrimp with new potatoes and French beans. I had roasted lambs sweetbread with an endive and bacon salad followed by slow roast park, cabbage, black pudding and fondant potato with French beans. I find it impossible to fault the food that I was served - a real experience of taste and texture, excellently presented, leaving me comfortably full at the end. My partner had a similar experience but found she had to limit her consumption of the capers to avoid overpowering the flavour of the fish. This was all washed down with some excellent wine from Argentina. With pre-dinner drinks, food, wine and coffee at the end our bill came to around £100. Our favourite restaurant in Cambridge is probably Number Twenty-Two's on Chesterton Road. Graffiti can't quite knock that from the top spot but if you've been to 22's already this year and you fancy a change, without sacrificing on quality but not having to pay a great deal more, then you might find Graffiti hard to beat.
